RendezvousTerms of service

These terms apply to your use of Rendezvous at setrendezvous.com (the "Service"), provided by Rendezvous, Innovation Centre, Rennes Drive, Exeter EX4 4GX, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By signing in you agree to them. If you use Rendezvous for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.
1. The Service
Rendezvous helps organizers plan series of meetings: it suggests meeting times from the rules and availability provided, sends calendar invitations and availability requests to guests, collects their answers, and can add meetings to the organizer's Google or Microsoft calendar. Guests can respond without an account.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a Google or Microsoft account and are responsible for activity under it.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Keep your sign-in secure and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.
3. Subscription and payment
- The Free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown on the pricing page (one recurring series, 5 one-off meetings a month, up to 10 guests per meeting).
- Paid plans cost £7 a month or £69 a year (Starter), £19 a month or £190 a year (Premium), and £12 per seat a month or £120 per seat a year with a minimum of 5 seats (Corporate), including any applicable taxes unless shown otherwise at checkout. They are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically for the same period. Switching plans, billing period or number of seats takes effect immediately and is prorated.
- The institutional licence covers every organiser on an organisation's email domain. It is annual, paid by invoice, and its price, limits and terms are agreed with us in writing; those terms apply alongside these.
- A Corporate subscriber may give a seat to as many people as the seats they pay for (including themselves); those people use Corporate limits while the subscription is active. The subscriber is responsible for the people they add.
- Documents are included on every plan under a fair-use limit per series, which we may apply to prevent abuse.
- You can cancel at any time by asking in Help → Get support or by emailing support@setrendezvous.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you paid for (month or year); you keep your plan until then. We don't refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
- If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a 14-day right to cancel a new subscription. By starting to use a paid plan immediately, you agree that we may deduct a proportionate amount for the days already used if you cancel within that period.
- We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing period after the notice period; you can cancel before then.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- invite only people who expect to hear from you about the meetings you organise;
- not use Rendezvous to send spam, marketing or unsolicited bulk email;
- not upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content, or try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the Service;
- have a lawful basis to share your guests' email addresses and details with us, and give them any information the law requires about that.
We may suspend accounts that breach these rules, for example to protect our email reputation or other users.
5. Your content
You keep all rights in the content you add (meeting names, descriptions, rules and so on). You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the Service, as described in our privacy policy.
6. Scheduling suggestions
Rendezvous suggests meeting times automatically, sometimes with the help of AI, based on the information available to it. Suggestions can be wrong or incomplete (for example if a guest's calendar isn't shared). Please review the schedule before sending invitations; you remain responsible for the meetings you send.
7. Third-party services
Rendezvous relies on services such as Google, Microsoft, Stripe, Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and features that depend on them may change if they change their services.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Rendezvous available and working well, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve or change features; if a change significantly reduces what you pay for, you may cancel and we will refund any unused prepaid period.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, business or data, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. If you are a consumer, you also have legal rights that these terms don't affect.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Rendezvous and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend the Service for you if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, with notice where reasonable. If we decide to stop offering Rendezvous altogether, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund any unused prepaid period.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes we will email organizers at least 30 days in advance; continuing to use Rendezvous after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you can also rely on the mandatory laws and courts of the country where you live.
